Precision Cattle Guard Installation – Whitehouse, Texas

March 2024

Project Background

On a large horse farm in Whitehouse, Texas, our client needed a durable cattle guard to keep their horses from escaping while also addressing drainage issues at the main entrance. The project required precise excavation, a reinforced concrete base, and a proper drainage system to ensure long-term stability and functionality.

Our team began by carefully excavating and grading the site using a mini excavator to create a solid foundation. We then poured a reinforced concrete base to support the cattle guard, ensuring it could withstand heavy farm traffic. To prevent water from pooling at the entrance, we installed a drainage system that redirects runoff into an existing drain, keeping the area dry and accessible.

Despite the challenges of working in an active farm environment, we completed the installation efficiently. The result is a secure, low-maintenance entrance that enhances both safety and accessibility while blending seamlessly into the property.
